Hadsel Church
Located about five kilometers east of Stokmarknes, Hadsel Church is a parish church in Hadsel village of Nordland county. It is interesting to note that the first church was constructed at this very site in fourteenth century and owing to repeated demolitions at the site, the Hadsel Church is the fourth one here. It was constructed in 1824 AD and has a seating capacity of five hundred people. A related attraction here is Melbu Church. It was built in 1938 AD and has a seating capacity of 250 people.
