Opened in 1955, the Disneyland Park is the only theme park in Anaheim that was designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney. It is also is the first theme park built at the Disneyland Resort in the city. It consists of eight themed areas like the Main Street (it is modeled like typical Midwest town of 1900s), Adventureland (it recreates the feel of an exotic tropical place) and Tomorrowland (it has a ‘futuristic’ look and feel).
Disney California Adventure Park is a theme park in Anaheim. It consists of seven scintillating themed areas called ‘districts’ that offer a vast range of allied experiences related to sight and sounds. You wouldn’t like to miss out on clicking selfies with several Disney characters here who are found throughout the park politely greeting the visitors. Fantasmic! is a nighttime show at Disneyland in the Disneyland Resort featuring famous Disney characters, fireworks, synchronized fountains, and laser shows amidst some pulsating music and mist screen projections. The show takes off with a faint musical note that heralding Mickey Mouse’s arrival on the stage. He dances and orchestrates various water fountain effects to the show's theme.
Downtown Disney is a shopping center located at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. It stands flanked by Disneyland Resort's two theme parks and is a free attraction for all. It is linked from the Disneyland Park’s attraction Tomorrowland by a state-of-the-art Disneyland Monorail System.
