March Field Air Museum (formerly March Air Force Base Museum)

The March Field Air Museum is an aviation museum close to March Air Reserve Base near Riverside. It has a stunning collection of more than 70 aircraft and some vintage jet engines, including a prototype that first flew in January 1939 - a Boeing B-29 Superfortress that undertook 11 combat missions during the Second World War and a Boeing B-52D Stratofortress that flew 175 combat missions in the Vietnam War. Also of note here is a memorial dedicated to war dogs.
