Dakota Territorial Museum
The Dakota Territorial Museum is located in West Side Park, Yankton. It contains information and artifacts related to the heritage and development of the city ever since 1869. The most notable artifacts here are - artifacts of Dakota Territory, from Native American inhabitants and early pioneers. The museum also offers extensive research material to scholars and researchers.
Bede Art Gallery
Bede Art Gallery is a cultural center for professional artists. It is located in the lobby of Marian Auditorium of Mount Marty College campus and is named after a Benedictine monk - Bede the Venerable. Bede Art Gallery exhibits artworks from regional artists on a monthly basis and most of them are featured with an artist address to the audience. The gallery is open from September to May and entry here is free.
Fantle Memorial Park
Fantle Memorial Park is a tribute to all American war veterans. This monument has the list of more than fifty war veterans who had laid down their lives during the Second World War. Fantle Memorial Park is also home to the Avenue of Flags, in which five service flags and hundreds of American flags are displayed six times a year.
