Armour-Stiner House
The Armour-Stiner House, also known as the Carmer Octagon House, is a unique octagon-shaped and domed Victorian style house in Irvington, Westchester County. It is unique in the sense that it is considered both haunted and (probably) the last of all domed octagonal residences built in the United States. The Armour-Stiner House has also featured in some television series and movies owing to its ghastly identity, and has been a notable part of the 1981 horror film, The Nesting.

Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site
Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site is the oldest standing building in Westchester County. The house is home to a 1750 AD papier-mâché (a composite material consisting of paper pieces or pulp, sometimes reinforced with textiles and bound with an adhesive) and a plaster Rococo ceiling. Of related architectural significance is an 1868 AD City Council Chamber designed by John Davis Hatch. This masterpiece is known for its high vaulted ceiling and the woodwork used therein is typical of an old English manor house. There is also a vast collection of sixty paintings of American Presidents, war heroes and other historical figures.
