Cheap Soderhamn Vacation Packages
Soderhamn in Swede is known for Oskarsborg, which was a tower built in 1895 AD on the top of a hill close to the town centre. A funny part of its story is that even though this tower was built as a memorial for a visit of Swedish king Oscar II to the city, the king had never actually come here. The city also has a museum, called Soderhamn Museum and it gives an insight into local history through photographs and some historic carvings. Visitors may also find a trip to the nearby museum of military airplanes, Soderhamn F15 Flight Museum, quite interesting. This museum was once an airbase of F15 warplanes and that’s how it has a collection of F15 warplanes from 1946 to 1997 AD. It also has a simulation facility that allows you to feel the thrill of flying a fighter jet over any part of the world.
