Okavango Delta
Maun is a gateway to Okavango Delta. This delta includes permanent marshlands and seasonally flooded plains. Okavango Delta is one of the few interior delta systems that don't flow into an ocean or sea. This delta is a wonderful example of the interaction between biological, hydrological, and climatic processes. Okavango Delta boasts some of the world's endangered species of large mammals, such as lion, cheetah, African wild dog, white rhinoceros, and black rhinoceros.
Nhabe Museum
Housed in a historical building built in 1939, Nhabe Museum offers displays on the history of Ngamiland district and some temporary exhibitions of art, photography, and basket weaving. Bailey Arts Center is located inside the museum allowing local artists to sell screen prints, pottery, paintings, and more.
Motsana
A two-storey Moroccan style building located on the road to Shorobe, Motsana is one of the most innovative cultural spaces in Botswana. In this center, there is an art cafe, a number of shops selling artfully conceived photographic prints, textiles, and handicrafts, and a fairly full program of dance classes, live theaters, and movie nights.
