Tallac Historic Site
Tallac Historic Site is located in a lovely forest location. This site comprises three historic estates i.e. the Valhalla Estate, the Pope House, and the Baldwin Estate. The Pope House describes how area's wealthy residents lived in the 1920s. In this house, a two-day Great Gatsby Festival is held and attracts people for elegant Roaring Twenties social meeting. The Baldwin Estate has been converted into a historical museum displaying a 1930s era kitchen and vintage children's toys and games. For private evenings and weddings, the Valhalla Estate is an excellent local venue. At this estate, the Art, Music, & Theater Festival takes place in summers.
Kings Beach
Kings Beach is a large and sandy beach apt for swimming, sunbathing, and boating during summers. Sheltered by a forest of Jeffrey Pine Trees, this beach enjoys direct sunshine from the early morning until late afternoon. At Kings Beach, the recreation area also features public restrooms, a playground, barbeque pits, picnic tables, and a half-size basketball court.
Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park
Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park offers densely forested areas of fir, pine, aspen, and juniper trees.
