Bear Creek Music Festival
Bear Creek Music Festival is organized by Grande Prairie Live Theatre every year since 1932 AD. The performances were intermittent during the Second World War and the group fell apart. Later in 1962, the group was rebuilt with existing and some other music players. This group has entertained 250,000 people through four thousand artists during last fifty two years.

It was in 1921 AD that the Grande Prairie Music Festival had started as Women’s Music Club. As a parental organization, WMC catalytically promoted this as a prominent music festival in Grande Prairie. The efforts bore results and what had started as a mere two day festival, the Grande Prairie Music Festival has now grown into a famous three-week event that ends in May.
Grande Prairie Museum & Heritage Village
Opened in 1971 AD, Grande Prairie Museum & Heritage Village is located in Muskoseepi Park. The museum depicts a historical theme of the first inhabitants here and the ones who have contributed to the economic development of the region. Visitors will prominently find some prehistoric artifacts of aboriginal people besides a dinosaur skeleton and some military displays here.
