Opened in 2009, Dornier Museum is located next to Friedrichshafen. The museum boasts wonderful architect and features almost 400 exhibits including 12 original aircraft and 7 exhibits from space travel. The museum celebrates the history of aviation and aerospace.
Schulmuseum
Making visitors experience school days, Schulmuseum showcases how schools developed and how classrooms looked like in 19th century. There are historic teaching materials and immaculate exhibits such as old slate pencil boxes and the big cardboard cones filled with sweets. Visitors can also try writing on slates on the two-seater school bench.
Zeppelin Museum
Presenting the world's largest collection on the subject of airship history, travel, and construction, Zeppelin Museum is located in the historic harbor station building. Under the same roof of the museum, visitors can also visit a significant collection of art dating from the late Middle Ages to the present day.
