Cheap Freetown Vacation Packages
It had all started in 1787 AD with four hundred freed slaves sent from England who landed on the beach of Atlantic Ocean. Today that place is in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone and it is a scenic beach with white sand and emerald waters. The most iconic piece of history that a visitor sees here is an 1817 AD stone structure called ‘King's Gate’ that reads "any slave who passes through this gate is declared a free man" and it pretty much tells you all that you need to know about this place. Another stellar attraction here is the historic Cotton Tree that had once greeted Freetown’s first inhabitants to mark a new beginning of their otherwise neurotic lives.
