Cheap Albury Vacation Packages

Albury is a major regional city in New South Wales, Australia. It is the seat of local government for the council area and is located on the northern side of the Murray River. Its twin Victorian city of Wodonga is situated on the southern side of the same river. A drive through Albury leads to the neighboring mountain town of Beechworth, which is known for the gold-rush of the 1850s and its wines. The twin cities are also a fabulous alternative to spend some time in relaxing and sightseeing if you’re travelling from Sydney to Melbourne.

Albury Botanic Gardens are located in the heart of the Albury city. They are spread across four hectares of lush greenery that features over a thousand native and exotic plant species, thus making it a calm and tranquil place for both relaxing and sightseeing the immense natural beauty that it offers. Albury Botanic Gardens also feature a miniature section or the children’s garden that has some attractions like a small fairy temple, a life-sized dinosaur and a troll cave.

Monument Hill War Memorial
Erected in 1924 AD, the Monument Hill War Memorial is dedicated to the armed men and women who had laid down their lives during the First World War. Today it is marked with many old huts and buildings that are reminiscent of those troublesome days and tell a different story of how it used to feel like living those trying times here.
