Bogota (officially called Bogotá, Distrito Capital, abbreviated Bogotá, D.C. and formerly known as Santa Fe de Bogotá) is the capital and largest city of Colombia administered as the Capital District. Bogota is famous for its gridlocked streets, a cobblestoned city centre and a mix of Colonial-era and Neoclassical architecture. Bogota tops this surreal effect with a stunning line up of top-class museums like museums the Museo Botero and the Museo del Oro.
