Sacramento to Kona route to get its first nonstop flights by Alaska Airlines from December 20, 2018
Travelers looking for flights from Sacramento to Kona can now fly on Alaska Airlines as the airline is launching its nonstop service between Sacramento International Airport and Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport. In this new service, the airline will offer three weekly nonstop flights, one in each direction. This flight service is scheduled to start on December 20, 2018. There is a change in flight schedule and 6 January 2019 onwards, these new Alaska Airlines flights will depart from Sacramento International Airport at 11:45 A.M. and arrive in Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at 3:50 P.M., whereas the return flights will depart Kona at 12:00 P.M. and arrive in Sacramento at 7:25 P.M. These Alaska Airlines flights are the only non-stop flights which will operate on this route through Boeing 737 aircrafts.
