located right next to Central Park of Guatemala. It operates as a museum

La Aurora Zoo
Also known as Parque Zoologico La Aurora, it is a zoological park and one
of the largest gardens in the city. It is located in the southern part of
the city and is a 5-minute drive from international airport and a 30-minute
drive from the historic city center. The zoo houses a variety of animals
from Asia, Africa and Americas in three designated areas. Zebras, three
species of Asian monkeys, lions and buffaloes, among others can be found
here. The zoo also has on-site eateries where you can indulge in
hamburgers, pizzas as well as traditional home food.
Plaza de la Constitucion
The main plaza of Guatemala City, Plaza de la Constitucion is surrounded by
the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, the Centennial Park and the
National Library of Guatemala. One of the most famous historic landmarks in
the city, the Plaza has played host to many significant historic events,
celebrations and parades. The Kilometer Zero of the country, from where all
distances are measured, is also found here.
