Seattle is a seaport city in the US state of Washington. It is the seat of
King County and is also the largest city in both the state of Washington
and the Pacific Northwest region of North America. The city was once
inhabited by Native Americans for nearly 4000 years before the European
settlement. Seattle exploded with an astronomical growth after the Second
World War with the native market leaders- Boeing, Microsoft and Amazon.
This modern metropolis is also home to a significant musical history and
the alternative rock movement grunge was originated here.
