Austin is the capital of the US state of Texas and an inland city bordering
the Hill Country region. It is best known as the home to the University of
Texas and can be at best termed a university-city for most college-going
students. Austin is also the country’s second-largest state capital and
thus is a major epicentre of administration, politics and technology. The
city flaunts a profound accent of public arts and live-music scene, the
latter comprising Country, Blues and Rock genres of music. Those wishing
for some outdoor adventure can have a nice time enjoying hiking, biking,
swimming and boating in or around the city.
