The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is a 187-feet-tall Ferris Wheel that had debuted
as the second-tallest extant Ferris wheel in North America in 2011. It is
hallmarked by 42 glass-enclosed and air-conditioned gondolas. This Skywheel
operates all the year-round and can withstand winds that are blowing even
at the speed of 135 miles per hour.
Hollywood Wax Museum
A close second to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in the US, the Hollywood Wax
Museum in Myrtle Beach offers a tribute to the Hollywood. It’s building is
hallmarked by a 35-foot-tall Great Ape that was depicted in 1933
blockbuster King Kong. This museum is exclusively dedicated to Hollywood
actors and actresses, and the first statue that was made here belonged to
Eddie Murphy.
