Brimstone Hill Fortress
For history lovers, Brimstone Hill Fortress is an excellent place to visit.
This fort is one of the best-preserved forts of the Americas. Brimstone
Hill Fortress was designated a national park in 1985 and later in 1999, it
became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Oualie Beach
An excellent place to visit for nature lovers, Oualie Beach is a beautiful
beach that also features an on-site beach bar. The chairs and hammocks
available on the beach are free to use. Tourists can also enjoy some
exciting snorkeling in the clear waters. At the beach, there are available
rental kiosks for other water sports as well. Windsurf ‘N' Mountainbike
Nevis and Scuba Safaris are two of the companies represented on the beach.
The sand on this beach is soft and less rocky in comparison to some of the
other beaches on these islands. Many of the tourists come here to swim in
the calm and warm waters at this beach.
Pinney's Beach
Pinney's Beach is located on Nevis' west edge. It is one of the most talked
about beaches in the country. The beach boasts smooth saffron-colored sands
that often grace the glossy pages of travel magazines. There are numbers of
beach snack shacks located in proximity and ample parking is also
available. At the beach tourists can rent umbrellas and beach chairs from
the vendors on-site who also organize water sports activities.
