the site where nomadic tribes gathered for over 6,000 years. The Northern
Plains people came to this area to gather food, hunt bison, and seek
shelter from the wind. Spread over 600 acres, the park has 19 sites which
represent the society of the Northern Plains people including Atsina, Cree,
Blackfoot and more.
Remai Modern
Remai Modern is a modern art museum. The extensive collection at museum
includes artworks from Picasso and many emerging artists. The museum also
has many temporary exhibitions featuring international artists. It also
holds talks, tours and film screenings to keep the visitors engaged.
Western Development Museum'
Western Development Museum is the largest network of museums in
Saskatchewan. There are four distinct themes which each museum focusses on,
namely, people, agriculture, transportation and economy. The Saskatoon
branch is the largest human history museum and has a collection of over
75,000 artefacts.
