Antananarivo
The capital city of Madagascar, Antananarivo reflects a beautiful mix of
culture and traditions. Also named as Tana, the city is located at the
slopes of the surrounding mountains, at an altitude of about 1400 meters.
Antananarivo is home to the French colonial buildings and Parisian
structures lined on the slopes of the mountains.
Ifaty
Ifaty is a stretch of beautiful villages on the southwestern edge of
Madagascar. These villages are known for their luxurious hotel resorts and
wide beaches with yellow sand. Most of the tourists come here to enjoy
ecstatic blend of sun, sand, and sea. Ifaty also offers world-class
snorkelling in Indian Ocean and catamaran tours on the Mozambique Channel.
Antsiranana
The capital of Diana Region in the far north of Madagascar, Antsiranana is
located on the Antsiranana Bay, which is one of the largest and most
beautiful deepwater harbours in the Indian Ocean. Probably the most French
city on Madagascar, Antsiranana has a colonial feel over it. It is the
largest city of the north with an immense cosy market, a variety of fine
restaurants, and some extraordinary places and national parks to visit in
close proximity.
