Alytus
Alytus is a historically rich town that dates to the 14th century. The town

olden times. Monuments like the obelisk that was constructed on a mass
burial ground of war prisoners and civilians killed during the horror of
the Second World War depict the war tragic history. The Old Garden of the
City with its Freedom Monument and the broken Star of David are places
worth visiting for history lovers. Regional Parks, Dzukija, Nemunas, and
Meteliai, as well as the Zuvintas Reserve, are excellent places to visit

Anyksciai
Anyksciai is a beautiful town home to interesting museums, unique natural
areas, and a mixed-bag of attractions and interesting sights. A center of
sacred art, the Angel Museum, the Horse Museum, the Narrow-Gauge Railway
Museum, and the Forest Museum are places to visit in order to get the hang
of the town and its diverse culture. There are several observation decks
located throughout the city, offering scenic views of Lake Rubikiai,

Birzai
One of Lithuania’s oldest cities, Birzai dates back more than five
centuries. The city is located in the northern region of the country at the
junction of the Agluona River and the Asascia River, and on the shores of
Lake Kiluciai and Lake Sirvena. Birzai is a culturally rich city with
scores of lovely churches, among which the most famous is the Evangelical
Reformed Church St. John’s the Baptist Church. Some of the major tourist
attractions in the city include Birzai Regional Park, Rinkuskiai Brewery
Butautu Manor Brewery, and Birzai Castle.

Weather-wise, the best time to take Lithuania flights is in the summer, spring, and beginning of the winter i.e. from May to December. It is dry weather period in the country most suitable for birdwatching, sightseeing, and even skiing (November and December). It is also the peak tourism season in the country. Tourists are advised to get cheap flights to Lithuania in advance as airfares tend to rise during peak season.
