The Neon Museum is an outdoor art museum spread over 2.4 hectares. Here, visitors will find neon vintage signs from old casinos, hotels and other businesses. The beautiful restored signs are considered to be artistically as well as historically significant to Las Vegas. The most famous ones are from the Caesars Palace, Moulin Rouge Hotel, and Stardust. A description for each sign is provided to give the visitor some context. Brilliant is a 30-minute night show comprising reanimation of defunct signage with music.
Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park
The Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park is spread over 1 hectare and contains the historic Old Mormon Fort. The fort was the first building to be built in this region. The park is located at the south corner of Las Vegas Boulevard, a mile from Downtown. Travelers will find here a visitor center illustrating the history of the fort.
