Klamath Falls is a city in and the county seat of Klamath County in Oregon, United States. It is neatly triangulated by the Cascade Range, lakes and rivers in the Klamath Basin, and offers stunning picture perfect beauty. Favell MuseumThe Favell Museum in Klamath Falls offers a notable collection of more than 100000 Native American artifacts and exhibits. You should visit here for its 12000 years old artifacts like primitive ancient stone tools, native clothing, arrowheads, obsidian knives, spear points, intricate beadwork, basketry and pottery. The centerpiece of this museum is a superb fire opal arrowhead that was found in the Black Rock Desert in 1910.
Moore ParkMoore Park is located about 15 miles away from Klamath Falls. It is known for its vast range of flora and fauna, and its paved boat ramps that lead to a nearby lake for fishing. It is also one of the best places for migrant waterfowl in the country and it is a real delight for birdwatchers who can find many species of migrant and nesting forest birds here, including bald eagles.
