Jackson is the county seat of Madison County, Tennessee, United States. A focal point of national railroad systems, it is situated between on Tennessee's ‘Heart of the Music Highway’ and is best known as home of some famous musicians. It hosts the International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame Museum, and is seconded by Rustys TV & Movie Car Museum and the Casey Jones Village.

The city is served by McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport (IATA: MKL). It is a public use airport that is located 4.5 miles west of the city. It offers scheduled flights to St. Louis through Air Choice One airline.

Rockabilly Hall of Fame
The International Rock-a-Billy Hall of Fame is home to an exhaustive range of spectrum, either side of which is a unique collection of videos related to noted singers and 14 life-size oil portraits of Rock-a-Billy superstars. Also of note is a 28'x70' mural that relates the evolution and journey of this musical genre, and it is trumped by a superb collection memorabilia related to Elvis Priestley.
Casey Jones Village
Casey Jones (14 March 1863 - 30 April 1900) was a railroad engineer who had laid down his life while saving the lives of all the onboard passengers on his train. Built to honor his glorious contribution, the Casey Jones Village is the numero uno family attraction in Jackson and consists of several hotspots like the Historic Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum, a recreated Ice Cream Parlor & Fudge Shoppe of 1890, a 175 year old events venue (the Providence House) and a 100 year old church.
Pinson Mounds
The largest groups of Middle Woodland mounds in the United States, the Pinson Mounds are located 10 miles away from Jackson. It has a prehistoric Native American complex with 17 mounds and an earthen geometric enclosure that were perhaps built during 1-500 AD. These famous mounds are now part of Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park that has nearly 6 miles of walking trails and hosts a cultural event called Archaeofest every year in September to celebrate these prehistoric structures.
