Daytona Beach Boardwalk also boasts arcades with games, indoor and outdoor recreational rides such as a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, and many more. Museum of Arts and Sciences
One of the largest museums in central Florida, Museum of Arts and Sciences boasts more than 30,000 objects on display. Some of its exhibits include displays related to Florida history, Early American art and furniture, Chinese art, Cuban art, and an immense collection of Americana including two private train cars, teddy bears, quilts, and numerous other pieces of memorabilia. The museum also offers a plethora of educational outreach programs such as summer camps and group tours. In addition, Museum of Arts and Sciences also features an auditorium and a planetarium.
The Beach
Daytona has a 23-mile long stretch of lovely beach which is the prime attraction of the city. This beach is famous for its hard-packed sand allowing cars to drive in certain areas of the beach. The beach is known for boasting beachfront parks with boardwalks, picnic areas, restrooms, and pavilions. Some of the popular beachfront parks include the Michael Crotty Bicentennial Park, the Smyrna Dunes Park, and the Lighthouse Point Park.
