Wiley Post–Will Rogers Memorial Airport is named after American humorist Will Rogers and aviator Wiley Post, both of whom died roughly 14 kilometers away at Point Barrow in the 1935 airplane crash. The airport offers Alaska Airlines flights operated to Anchorage, Deadhorse, and Fairbanks, and Ravn Alaska flights operated to Atqasuk, Nuiqsut, Point Lay, and Wainwright.
