Wild Adventures
A zoological theme park located around 8 kilometers south of Valdosta, Wild Adventures is owned by Herschend Family Entertainment. The park is situated just off the interstate 75. Wild Adventure features rides and attractions, comprising eight roller coasters, shows, exotic animals, Splash Island Water Park, and concerts from rock, pop, country, and oldies superstars.
Splash Island (Water Park)
Located inside Wild Adventures Theme Park, Splash Island is a water park that is home to 7 water rides for kids and thrill seekers. It is an excellent place to enjoy some quality time with family.
Grand Bay
Located around 6 kilometers away from Valdosta, Grand Bay is a 13000-acre swamp. The area consists of consists of Grand Bay Wetlands Management Area, which is an educational wildlife area, and Banks Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Banks Lake National Wildlife Refuge is a recreational and educational wildlife area. The Great Bay Wetland Education Center features a boardwalk, observation tower, and education rooms.
