The monastery was built by Stephen III in 1488 to commemorate the victory in the Battle of Vaslui. Voronet Monastery is famed for its exterior frescoes of intense and bright colors along with numerous well-preserved figures positioned against the renowned background.
Suceava Fortress
Built in the Middle Ages, Suceava Fortress is perched on the eastern edge of the city. The fortress offers magnificent vistas of the entire Suceava Valley. In Suceava Fortress, there are held the theater plays, the knight fights, games, performances of medieval music and dances, and the re-enchantment of historic events based on old documents.
