Nuclear Icebreaker Lenin
Lenin - Nuclear Icebreaker is a landmark to the city and is a must see attractions in Murmansk. The ship has not be renovated since its construction and visitors get to see the original construction of the vessel. At present it is used as a museum, conference venue, and a heritage site. Anyone is not permitted to wander all alone within the ship.
Murmansk Oceanarium
Murmansk Oceanarium was established in the year 1996. It is the only aquarium building which was setup with the aim to study the arctic seals. It plays an important role by solving the complex problems related to public education and environment education. This oceanarium is home to seven seals which belong to the family of pinnipeds. Here visitors get the chance to sea the solo and group performances by these animal artists.
Alyosha
This giant concrete structure of soldier nicknamed Alyosha was constructed in the memory of the fighters of Arctic who lost their lives during World War II. The statue is amongst the most remarkable monuments in Murmansk.
