Dakota Territory Air Museum
An excellent place to visit for museum lovers, Dakota Territory Air Museum tells and displays affluent and assorted of the aviation history of the region. Moreover, there is also a replica of Wright Flyer and civilian aircraft from 1903 through the present. The exhibits in the museum include narratives, gift shop, kiosks, aviation items, military uniforms, paintings, memorabilia, and photographs.
Roosevelt Park Zoo
Located on the Burdick Expressway East in Minot, Roosevelt Park Zoo is home to more than 200 mammals, reptiles, and birds from all round the globe. The major attractions in the zoo are the children's zoo, African penguins, Japanese serow, giraffe, and otter exhibit. Visitors can also stop by the Education Center, try a delicious treat at the concession stand, and enjoy shopping at gift shop. One can also visit a giraffe feeding station and can enjoy feeding the pelicans.
Lillian and Coleman Taube Museum of Art
Located in the historic 1906 United National Bank in downtown Minot, Lillian and Coleman Taube Museum of Art exhibits modern artwork of regional, national, and international artists. These exhibits are changed every 4-6 weeks. There are two galleries in the museum- a main gallery and a lower gallery. Lillian and Coleman Taube Museum of Art also hosts a lot of special events such as A Start in Art, Artfest, Holiday Tour of Homes, and more. There is a gift shop in the museum which remains open during normal museum hours.
Lucy's Amusement Park
A wonderful place to visit with family and kids, Lucy's Amusement Park is a small family owned amusement park created more than 40 years ago. Families can enjoy a plethora of fun activities at the park. The park remains open all through the week.
