The Andre-Malraux Museum of Modern Art in Le Havre has an international reputation for its remarkable collection of Impressionist paintings and landscape art, central to which are some masterpieces like ‘The Water Lilies’ of the Monet. The museum also has some artifacts in ivory and precious ceramics from Rouen and Normandy that were secured after WWII.

Eglise St-Joseph (St Joseph’s Church)
St Joseph's Church was a key project designed by August Perret in the rebuilding of the city. Its bell tower is one of the tallest in France and is lined with colored glass lending the interior a unique tranquility. Though it only looks imposing from the outside, it gathers its momentum quickly once you’ve stepped inside. It has a beautiful church organ and some of the most beautiful interiors that you would ever get to see inside a French church and when you’ll walk inside this church on a sunny day, you’ll be charmed to see the sunlight springing from its stained glass windows.

Les Jardins Supendus (The Hanging Gardens)
Les Jardins Suspendus are the hanging gardens that are spread across 17 hectares in a fortress in Le Havre and provide a breathtaking view of the Seine River and the harbor below. Just past its entrance are four bastions that are renamed after four eminent botanists. The star attractions here are some fragrant plants, cross-continental plants, orchids, begonias and the iconic Amazonian rain forest trees in numerous glasshouses.
