Gothenburg Museum of Art
Holding a unique collection of Nordic Art, Gothenburg Museum of Art boasts three stars in the Michelin Green Guide to Scandinavia. The collection in museum is regarded as one of the finest collections in Northern Europe. These exhibits include works by Carl Larsson, Rembrandt, Andres Zorn, Edward Munch, Chagall, Picasso, Monet, and many more. The photo exhibitions at the Hasselblad Center are worth exploring. Liseberg Amusement Park

Alvsborg Fortress
Arguably the best-preserved fortress in the country, Alvsborg Fortress is known for holding back the Danes during the 1717-19 war. It is also one of the most famous boat excursions in the city. On the island, there is a small handicraft shop, beautiful surroundings, winding paths, and a cafe.
