Arviat is an Inuit hamlet in mainland Nunavut. It is located at the western edge of Hudson Bay and is close to the geographical centre of Canada. Arivat’s Margaret Aniksak Visitors Centre is where one steps back in time to witness the history, culture and lifestyle ever since Arviat was first inhabited. It has numerous displays of traditional clothing, tools, games and some other collectibles relating to the local history. The most striking display here is the one that shows how the Inuit women used to sew so beautiful and classy warm clothes in the older times when there was no sewing machine available.
Virginia Discovery Museum
Incorporated in 1981 in Charlottesville, Virginia Discovery Museum is a nonprofit museum for children below ten years of age. It provides numerous exhibits on the arts, sciences, humanities, history, and nature with a v
