The area of harbor is beautiful and is home to few tourist attractions such as Arco di Traiano and the Arco Clementico.

A Roman Catholic cathedral in Ancona, Ancona Cathedral is dedicated to Saint Cyriacus of Ancona. This church is the seat od Archbishop of Ancona. Church's building is an excellent example of mixed Gothic and Romanesque-Byzantine elements.
National Archeological Museum: One of the most prestigious archaeological museums in Italy, National Archeological Museum is replete with the finds that emerged from the excavations throughout the Marche region. The museum is especially rich in terms of prehistoric and Roman artifacts from tombs.
