Cheap Aalesund Vacation Packages

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Norway, Alesund is a city known for its Art Nouveau architecture. The city is blessed with one of those wonderful Norwegian settings and is surrounded by fjords and the towering peaks of the Sunnmore Alps. Places of Interest in Alesund
Art Nouveau Alesund
An excellent Art Nouveau heart of the city, Art Nouveau Alesund is a great spot to explore on foot. The site boasts magnificent architecture, turrets, towers, and a number of other imaginative buildings. Visitors can also visit Art Nouveau Center including best-preserved Art Nouveau interior in the town.
Alesund Harbor
Located between the islands of Norvoy and Aspoy, Alesund Harbor is sheltered by the Skansen peninsula. Tourists can wander and admire the architecture of the harbor including several older buildings that were once used by fishermen. Alesund Harbor is one of the largest fishing fleets in Europe.
Alesund Aquarium
One of the largest saltwater aquariums in northern Europe, Alesund Aquarium is a wonderful place to know about the diverse marine life of Norway. The site is located at just a short bus ride from the center of Alesund. The exhibition area includes 11 large aquariums as well as activity pools and 'touch' pools. Alesund Aquarium is built into the shoreline and is crisscrossed with picturesque walking trails.
