The historic Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park has re-opened following three weeks of extensive renovations.
Park officials say the 84-year-old hotel received new flooring, carpeting, and energy efficient appliances.
Several historic artifacts were also restored and a much needed upgrade was performed on the hotel’s fire alarm system.
While many rooms, restaurants, and shops at the hotel are now open, suites on the fifth and sixth floors remain closed for ongoing improvements.
