Although the resort is just over five years old, the Wynn Las Vegas is already entering the final stages of a $99 million renovation.
The major upgrade comes as a result of CEO Steve Wynn’s “renovate early and often” strategy, which he first used at the Golden Nugget.
Wynn Design and Development Executive Vice President Roger Thomas recently explained the reasoning behind the frequent upgrades, saying, “We like to stay ahead of the game. We have a lot of repeat guests and getting them into a different room is a way of honoring them, I think.”
The revamped Wynn means new carpets and drapes, completely resurfaced bathrooms, and refurbished or brand new furniture in every room.
Renovations are now complete in the Wynn’s Resort Tower and are nearly 60 percent finished in the facility’s AAA Five Diamond-rated Tower Suites.
