Vision Airlines is celebrating new service to Florida’s Emerald Coast by offering special $19 flights to Florida.
The special fares will be available through midnight tonight on select flights scheduled to depart from cities in 11 states between March 25 and May 21.
By April 1, Vision Airlines will expand its service to the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Baton Rouge, LA; Destin/Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Ft. Myers/Punta Gorda, FL; Greenville, SC; Huntsville, AL; Knoxville, TN; Louisville, KY; Savannah/Hilton Head, and St. Pete/Tampa, FL.
The airline is teaming up with local tourism officials to get people back to Florida’s Gulf Coast after last year’s oil disaster devastated tourism in the region.
Officials are optimistic that the low fares and new service will encourage people to see for themselves that Florida’s beaches remain clean and the water crystal clear.
