Virgin Atlantic is currently seeking partnership options, according to founder Richard Branson.
The charismatic billionaire denied any interest in selling the airline outright, however.
“It’s very much been my baby for the last 26 years, so it’d be a bit like selling my daughter,” said Branson.
He did admit, however, that the airline would need to team up with a larger airline if it wishes to remain competitive in the future.
Though a move like that might mean Branson selling some of his shareholding, he insists that he would remain heavily involved in operations.
