U.S National Parks Free for 17 Days in 2011

People of all ages and classes can come and enjoy the national parks across the United States because they announced Wednesday that they’ll be having 17 fee-free days in 2011.

 

The announcement was made by the National Park Service, which manages the nations parks and monuments across the country.

 

 

 

The free days will be spread out through 2011.

 

Days include:

 

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Mon. Jan 17th.
Veteran’s Day Weekend (Nov. 11th -13th).
National Park Week, which runs from April 16th – 24.
The first day of summer (June 21st)
National Public Lands Day, which runs on Sept. 24th.
