Excited about that upcoming trip to London but bummed because you think you’ll have to miss the big game on TV? Nonsense. The NFL is becoming more and more popular in the UK. Besides, if there’s a reason to drink beer and watch sports, you can be sure the Brits are on top of that action. Keep in mind to see the Super Bowl live while in London, you’ll need to be a night owl (or still getting over your jet lag) as the UK is five hours ahead of the US East Coast.
Here’s a quartet of great London venues (providing comfortable multi-screen viewing) where you can catch Super 2014 live and in style on Sunday February 2nd.
Bodean’s
Four locations across London: Clapham – 169 Clapham High Street, SW4 7SS; nearest London Underground station is at Clapham Common. Fulham – 4 Broadway Chambers Fulham Broadway, SW6 1EP; nearest London Underground station is at Fulham Broadway. Soho – 10 Poland Street, W1F 8PZ; nearest London Underground stations are at Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road. Tower Hill – 16 Byward Street, EC3R 5BA; nearest London Underground station is at Tower Hill.
Hosting one of London’s best established Super Bowl parties in town, Bodean’s BBQ goes all out with pre game “tailgate action” and a halftime feast that’s “fit for a linebacker.” Guaranteed seating, gargantuan food and a complimentary Budweiser upon arrival costs £30 (about $45). Book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Honky Tonk Clapham
16A Clapham South Side, SW4 7AB
The nearest London Underground station is at Clapham Common.
Honky Tonk specializes in “American flavour” with “British behaviour” and will be throwing its first ever Super Bowl Showdown this year, offering a selection of American treats on the night such as Sloppy Joes, ice cream sundaes and even a “Super Bowl Slammer” (shot of beer and tequila).

Jetlag Bar
125 Cleveland Street, W1T 6QB
The nearest London Underground station is at Great Portland Street.
As the name might imply, Jetlag Bar aims to “deliver great nights to a rapacious mixed group of expats.” For the Super Bowl, Jetlag festivities kick off at 7 p.m. with a screening of “Any Given Sunday,” an all you can eat street food buffet, premium craft beers and more. Tickets start at £50 (about $75) and include guaranteed seating and all-night access to the buffet.
