Over the weekend, Southwest Airlines kicked off new service to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
The new service consists of six daily non-stop flights to Chicago’s Midway Airport as well as two daily flights to St. Louis.
The service is part of Southwest’s push to attract more business travelers in the New York market.
On June 5, service will be expanded with flights available from Newark to Baltimore/Washington, Denver, Houston, and Phoenix.
