A massive snowstorm in the Southern United States has created headaches for thousands of air travelers.
While Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport remained open Sunday, hundreds of flights were canceled with countless more facing substantial delays.
According to officials, Delta Airlines was forced to cancel 330 flights on Sunday, with 1,400 more flights expected to be grounded today.
AirTran has already canceled 270 Monday flights. Heavy snow is also causing travel nightmares in other Southern states like Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, where travelers are facing heavy delays adverse driving conditions.
