Singapore Airlines to Launch A380 Service on Singapore-Tokyo-LA Route July 1

Singapore Airlines has announced a new launch date for Airbus A380 service on its Singapore-Tokyo-Los Angeles route.

 

Originally scheduled to launch March 27, the superjumbo service will now kick off on July 1.

 

The airline had delayed A380 service on the route following the massive earthquake and tsunami that ravaged Japan on March 11.

 

Los Angeles will be the eighth destination in Singapore Airlines’ network to be served by the A380.
