Visiting New York City’s Museum of Modern Art is about to get a little more expensive. The museum announced plans this week to increase the price of regular admission to $25 beginning September 1.
The $5 increase in price will make the museum the most expensive to visit in the city. Senior citizens and students will also see a price hike, paying $18 and $16 respectively.
Travelers looking for a discount can find one by ordering tickets online. Doing so will bring regular admission prices down to $22.50. Seniors will pay $16 while ordering online while students who pre-order on the net will pay just $12.
Travelers hoping to take in the sights of the MoMA for free will still be able to do so between the hours of 4 PM and 8 PM every Friday.
