New York City is home to a number of world-class museums. From the Metropolitan Museum of Art to the Guggenheim, the Big Apple servfes up enough art and culture to keep aficionados occupied for weeks.
But as any resident will tell you, the city is also home to plenty of oddities. Bruce Christensen’s Beetlejuice Museum falls somewhere between the two.
Crammed into Christensen’s Hell’s Kitchen Apartment, the museum is a thorough and well-organized shrine to the 1988 cult movie classic starring Michael Keaton and Geena Davis.
Christensen, who gives guided tours of the museum in full Beetlejuice garb, has amassed quite the collection over the years.
According to a report in the New York Daily News, the 75-piece collection consists of everything from plastic toys to Beetljuice themed wine coolers. The meek museum has welcomed over 200 guests since first opening in late 2011.
