New Orleans officials are currently weighing eight options for the redevelopment of the abandoned Six Flags New Orleans theme park.
The park has been abandoned since it suffered heavy damage and flooding during Hurricane Katrina back in 2005.
A committee will weigh the financial possibilities of all eight plans before making any final decisions.
Nothing is expected to happen overnight but this is the furthest re-development plans have gotten since a plan to build a Nickelodeon-themed park on the site fell through back in 2009.
Since its closure nearly six years ago, the park has become a magnet for amateur photographers and trouble-seeking teens.
