Harry Potter fanatics will have yet another chance to dive into the Harry Potter universe beginning in Spring 2012.
Though the final chapter has long closed on the Boy Who Lived, there appears to be tons of milk left in this literary cash cow.
Next year, Warner Bros. Studios will begin hosting tours of the Harry Potter studios in Leavesden, England (about 20 miles outside London) where all eight blockbuster Potter movies were filmed.
The tours will include strolls through Hogwart’s Great Hall, Professor Dumbledore’s office, the Gryffindor common room, and Hargrid’s Hut.
Tour-goers will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the “movie magic” that brought some of the series’ most spectacular creatures to life, including Buckbeak the mythical Hippogriff, Aragog the giant spider, and Fawkes the phoenix.
Crews are currently working to convert the temporary movie sets into permanent fixtures for the tours. The first tickets for the studio tours will go on sale on October 13.
