Did you know that Walt Disney World is turning 45 this October? No? You’re not the only one. The Orlando-based theme park has been keeping the exact nature of the festivities largely under wraps, but here’s what we know so far:

The celebrations kick off park-wide at 9:30 a.m. on October 1st.

Get your Minnie ears and head to Orlando, stat.

There will be a special Magic Kingdom celebration at Cinderella’s Castle that will feature music, speeches, and appearances from Disney characters!

We’re crossing our fingers for the chance to sing along to “Let It Go”.

Special anniversary nibbles will be available at food stalls throughout the park.

(Eat 45 commemorative treats in celebration? Challenge accepted.)

There’s a whole new range of anniversary merchandise — including “I Was There” t-shirts.

Nothing says cool like a shirt that proves you went to Disney World.

In the past, guests have also received special maps and pins made especially for the event.

We know what family heirloom we’re saving to show our grandkids now.

In preparation, Disney has been taking a look back on the original Disney World rides.

TBH, the Haunted Mansion is still top-notch.

If we know Disney at all (which we do, of course), there will surely be fireworks.

Lots of ’em.

And a parade.

Because, duh.

So get ready to celebrate the park’s 45th birthday Disney-style.

(AKA just like you’d expect the Happiest Place on Earth to celebrate.)
